Web Frontend Developer - 2 Openings

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with experience in front-end technologies to build dashboards for our internal tools, and public-facing web apps. We are looking for self-managed people who can work without constant supervision. We are looking for someone who is looking for a long-term career as a front-end engineer. 

We need someone who can pick the best tool for the task at hand and deliver the product. An ideal candidate should deliver the results as quickly as possible, irrespective of the tools used. Love a template you saw on the web? We'll buy it for you.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for one or more of the following tasks depending on your skills and prior experience. 

• Build dashboards for our internal APIs and graphical dashboards for product analytics.

• Build static sites for internal and reusable components/ widgets for web.

• Implement responsive designs in collaboration with UI/ UX designers. 

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 

• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.

• Modify and improve code for existing front-end apps.

• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

If you have at least a few of the following skills, you can apply for this position. You will be assigned the best role based on your prior experience. 

• Most important - a great sense of design.

• 1-2 years of experience of working as a Frontend Developer.

• Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.

• Excellent knowledge of modern JavaScript and one CSS framework.

• Excellent knowledge of one Javascript framework (ReactJs or RemixJs preferred).

• Good understanding of browser compatibility & accessibility.

• Worked in several to many projects. Published several custom web-pages.

Preferred Qualities

If you possess one or more of the following qualities, you are more likely to be selected for the position. 

• Studied software engineering or similar course.

• Has great communication and social skills.

• Experience of working with Agile methodology. 

• Good knowledge of Git, Unix tools & build systems.

• Has some knowledge of Graphics UI/ UX design.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with ReactJS and RemixJS.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
